製作人 BRUCE STRINGER 布魯斯
Bruce Stringer is a musician, composer and music producer who has worked in the Australian and UK music scenes. He plays guitar, guitar-synthesizer, band and keyboards / synthesizer, and has recorded with two of his guitar heroes: Snowy White – who has worked extensively with Peter Green, Pink Floyd and Roger Waters – and late Hawkwind guitarist, Huw Lloyd-Langton.
During his time in the UK Bruce worked as a “session musician”, playing back-up for many new & developing artists. He also worked as a music journalist interviewing many musicians, including Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins – known to Chinese audiences for their work with Faye Wong (王菲) on the “Restless” (浮躁) album.
His love of the Taiwanese music scene has exposed him to numerous high-calibre artists and his favourites include: Faith Yang Nai Wen (楊乃文), Chen Shan Ni (陳珊妮), Wu Bai (伍佰), Samingad (紀曉君) and Deserts Xuan (張懸).
Bruce has written and recorded a number of soundtracks for low-budget films (assisting developing film makers), his work has been used for promotional advertising campaigns and his song, “On the Infield” is the theme to a local Speedway car race.
In 2009, Bruce and award-winning vocalist-songwriter Elaine Wang (王译翎) formed 雪宇, releasing one album in 2010. Their follow-up album was completed in 2012 (but not released) while songs for a third album and remix project also have been recorded. He is currently recording songs for his second Instrumental Rock album “Resistance”, music for film and game soundtracks, an Art-Film project, and is also working on an album with Australian-Chinese vocalist-composer, Niki (姜雨).
