The Band: This brand new music and visuals ensemble, based on Doctr’n’ric’s reggae productions and Victor Garnier’s visual skills, works to create new atmospheres as the two perform and remix live on stage in the spirit of moving “beyond dub”. The live act supports a studio album containing dub remixes with vocals by various artists including both Garnier and N’ric. The sound of the remixes includes African, Middle Eastern and Indian percussion and colours as well as the classical tricks and FX of electronic dub. The live act features Garnier mixing video live and N’ric
remixing the music with a multitrack and FX on stage and singing some tracks, as well. There is the option to add two of the singers from the album, Benjammin and Dr. Ring Ding, who also
double on horns, as well as the rest of the singers from the project as lead and backing vocals.
The Show: A feast for both the eyes and the ears, this duo unites Enric Carbonell, a brilliant recording engineer and one of Europe’s top reggae producers, with the musical and video prowess of Victor Garnier, a long-time pioneer in audiovisual performance. They will take the crowd on an multi-sensory immersive dub-influenced journey full of hypnotic grooves and melodies.
