K-Rec is active in the Vancouver Hip Hop scene working with artists such as the VS-Crew, BoomBox Saints, Estea-EL & the Influence Crew.

Prior to working independently DJ K-Rec was signed to Nettwerk Records where he worked with the bands Delerium and Frontline Assembly while producing his solo album Disque Jockey.
