Native Space* was born out of The Refuge in Taichung,Taiwan and has been on the Taiwan Music Scene for many years.



The Refuge is a place for Artists, Musicians & Truth Seekers to meet and conspire. The Refuge holds Weekly Jams & Monthly Events where Musicians & Artists from around the Island come to mingle, play music, BBQ and do whatever else tickles their fancy. Native Space in an Embodiment of The Refuge.


Native Space as a Musical Entity has seen friends come and go over the last 8 years, but the Spirit of Native Space lives on not only through its present members, but its past Members and those (and there are many) who have jammed with Native Space over the years LIVE or @ The Refuge in Taichung .



Native Space has performed in a slew of distinctive and diversified major Festivals & Venues all over the Island including:



•Spring Scream in Kending (6x)
•PeaceFest in Longtan (6x)
•May Jam in Tainan (3x)
•Basic Aid (3x)
•LUVstock in Taichung (5x)
•…as well as numerous art shows, charities and underground venues.



The Musicians that make up Native Space come from different Musical backgrounds giving the Music they create a Unique Sound.


Native Space continues producing very Original Haunting, Eclectic, Tribal Trip Boppin’ Music that has made people blissful all over the world.
