Black Forest is a Singaporean Chinese rock band that covers catchy originals such as Freedom (还我自由), April Fool Lover Fool, Mr You and 100kg. They have also performed at numerous places of prestige such as Marina Barrage, Esplanade and Ngee Ann City.

Black Forest, a band that is high energy and fun band both on stage and off stage. Black Forest is coming to its 5th year with at least 80 gigs and shows done.

On the 11th of November 2005, Black Forest was officially created. With 5 members in the band, they set out to find sounds that appealed to them, working their way through experiences ,discovering new tunes and writing originals.

Black Forest continue to belt out both new sounds and covers, in both Mandarin and English. The high-spirited, energetic members of Black Forest, brought together by the same love for music, all aspire to realize endless possibilities together for the future ahead.

* Black Forest's Original "My Freedom" hit the big screen as theme song for local movie " The Days" which was shown at all Golden Village in Singapore
* The movie soundtrack review is great , Black Forest has credit in it.
* Black Forest is the last Band to play at National Stadium before it closed for renovations
* The band consists of 4 chinese and 1 malay who sings chinese
* Performed for President challenge award... ironically what they loved most about the show, was the FREE FOOD and WINE (after show)!
